You may experience some redness, swelling, or tightness in your skin after receiving microneedling in Marlton. You can take Tylenol or use a cold compress to reduce these symptoms, but they will resolve themselves within 2 to 3 days. You may also see some blood, but your provider works hard to minimize bleeding. You can also help minimize bleeding by following your pre-care instructions and avoiding blood-thinning medications.

Almost everyone who is looking to correct skin texture and tone issues is a candidate. We do not recommend microneedling to those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or experiencing an active skin infection in the treatment area. We also avoid microneedling for those with diabetes, as this health condition can affect your skin’s ability to heal after treatment.
You can enhance and prolong the effects of your microneedling treatment by establishing and following an at-home skincare routine. While occasional in-office skin treatment helps enhance your skin’s health and appearance, continuous daily care for your skin will prolong any of the skin treatments you receive with our team.
Patients may experience some discomfort when they undergo microneedling in Marlton. That is why your provider will begin your appointment by cleansing your skin and applying a topical numbing cream to your skin.

How Microneedling Works
Microneedling works by stamping multiple tiny needles into your skin to create micro-channels. Your body reacts to the tiny injuries by increasing collagen and elastin production. These proteins work together to repair the cellular structure of your skin, correcting texture and tone to create smooth, glowing skin.
